Guru.com's new Feedback Management tool fosters a more honest and credible marketplace. Feedback reviews are now more reliable.
Feedback is a valuable tool to help you find the pro you need. However, on rare occasions it can be skewed due to personal bias or even abused when used as retaliation or as a threat. To ensure that feedback retains its integrity and value, both Employers and Freelancers may now choose to remove a limited number of feedback records from their profiles.
Speak your mind freely.
You no longer have to worry about what will happen if you give a Freelancer an honest review. If a Freelancer were to respond negatively to your feedback by posting undeserved feedback, you can remove that record from your public statistics.

MEDIA RELEASE: Has a Freelancer ever retaliated and given you undeserved negative feedback on Guru.com? Soon you'll be able to clean your feedback record. There may be times when you and a Freelancer just won't see eye to eye on a project's success. Don't let those instances tarnish your otherwise excellent track record.
Starting December 10, you will have the power to eliminate some unfavorable feedback from your profile, keeping your reputation spotless so you can continue to attract top Freelancers to your projects.
You will be able to block feedback records with invoice amounts totaling up to 10% of the total amount of payments you have made through SafePay in the last 12 months.
For example, if you have paid $10,000 through SafePay in the last 12 months, your Blocking Power will equal $1,000. You can then eliminate as many feedback records as you want totaling up to $1,000.
Stop undeserved negative feedback before it goes public.
Within seven days after a Freelancer issues feedback, you will be able to either immediately publish the positive feedback or block the negative feedback from appearing in your public statistics.
In addition, you will be able to remove already published feedback from your statistics any time as long as you have the Blocking Power to do so.
Note: To ensure the quality and fairness of the Guru.com marketplace, and to retain highly talented professionals, Freelancers also will be able to block a limited amount of feedback. However, Freelancers' Blocking Power will be based on their SafePay earnings and the quality of their track record (Quality Score) on Guru.com. In addition, their Blocking Power cannot exceed 10% of their total 12 months' earnings.
